Looking for Your Daily Security Byte Fix? We’ve got you covered!

August 18, 2016 By The Editor

Latest Car Hacks

Missing your Daily Security Bytes? Never fear – we’ve got suggestions for what to watch to get you through this brief hiatus, #TBT style. They may not be very old, but they are definitely posts you don’t want to miss.

  • Beware Random USB Sticks: Believe it or not, this is actually a thing. It feels like a crazy Hollywood plot, but there was even a recent case of a company sending out infected USBs. Corey Nachreiner talks about a presentation at Black Hat where people both picked completely random USBs up, but also plugged them in.
  • Latest Car Hacks: Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek have said that they are done with hacking cars. Corey went to their last presentation and tells us if it felt like a real mic drop moment.
  • Bloodhound Pen-test Tool: Who couldn’t use a tool that automates the penetration testing process? Corey tells us more.

Daily Security Byte withdrawals are rough. Regular daily videos will be resuming shortly. Until then, feel free to browse through past Bytes you might’ve missed to tide you over.
