WatchGuard is thrilled to be recognized again as one of CRN’s 30 Coolest Mobile Device Management And Security Companies this year as part of its annual 2019 Mobility 100 List! This marks the fourth year in a row that WatchGuard has earned a spot on this prestigious list, which recognizes the leading mobile hardware, security and device management, software and service, and mobile app development platform vendors in the market today.
“As flexible work environments continue to evolve, equipping a mobile workforce with reliable, secure connections is of utmost importance,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “The vendors on CRN’s 2019 Mobility 100 list have developed innovative services and solutions that allow companies the freedom of mobility while protecting against outside threats.”
This year, we earned our spot on the list by doing just that. In addition to the security capabilities we offer to enable organizations to monitor mobile devices connected to the network, and the discovery of unauthorized devices, WatchGuard has added AuthPoint, a new cloud-based multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution designed specifically to suit the needs of SMBs and distributed enterprises. AuthPoint provides critical MFA protection by generating push notifications to users’ smartphones to verify external login attempts. There’s no expensive hardware to deploy and the service can be managed from anywhere using the intuitive WatchGuard Cloud interface, answering the call for MFA where traditionally complex integrations and burdensome on-premises management made it impossible to implement without a large IT staff and considerable up-front expense.
