There’s a number of reasons you shouldn’t pirate music, video, or software but malware is definitely one of them. If you don’t know by now, few things in life are truly free. You might think that pirated album you found online is a cool find (I hope not), but it may come with hidden surprises. Recently, news came to light that a pirated copy of Ariana Grande’s latest album was infected with malware. The pirated album was compressed using a popular program called WinRar. However, the maliciously crafted RAR file also exploited a recent vulnerability in WinRar to execute code on your computer as you unpacked the file.
