PewDiePwns Nest Cameras – Security Byte

February 5, 2019 By Corey Nachreiner

A week ago, I covered how hackers were pwning printers and ChromeCasts in PewDiePie’s name, with the goal of elevating the subscribers to his channel. Unfortunately, these misguided PewDiePie fans continue to go too far, this time hacking Nest web cameras. In one case, they hacked a baby camera here in Washington state, and used it to yell obscenities at a baby. Watch today’s video to learn how to lock down your IP camera, and why I personally think people should start unsubscribing to PewDiePie unless he makes sure his Bro army stops this childish campaign.
