Secplicity - Security Simplified

Powered by WatchGuard Technologies

Welcome to Secplicity 2.0

June 26, 2018 By Scott Eklund

secplicity redesign
You may notice that things are a little different around Secplicity today. With our two year anniversary coming up we wanted to mark the occasion with a new logo, new design system, and new layout.

secplicity logo change Our new logo is more modern and easier to read at small sizes across mobile devices. We have also updated our design system to be more consistent across platforms. One of the many design system changes includes updating our typefaces from Raleway and Roboto to Helvetica Neue which has a more uniform set of heights and widths for improved legibility on all devices.

New Homepage Layout

When we launched Secplicity two years ago we focused on posting high-quality articles and Daily Security Byte videos. Since then we have added interactive resources like the Threat Landscape and our weekly podcast “The 443 – Security Simplified“. We want to make sure that new and returning visitors can easily find these resources so we’ve updated the layout of the homepage to facilitate this.

All posts are now in a reverse-chronological list instead of grouped by categories. Our big features and reports will still be pinned to the homepage with larger images so you’ll know when there’s something major to read.

More to Come

While this is a significant change, that doesn’t mean that we’re done. There are still some enhancements that we want to roll out in the coming months to further improve the experience for you.

If you notice something not working properly, have a comment, or concern reach out via our contact form or use the comments section below.
