“In a world…”
That’s how every great fictional superhero story starts. But what happens when the real world becomes something straight out of a comic book? With cyber criminals hiding in the shadows, continuously evolving their attacks to create the next great threat, we might be living our own comic book experience. If we’re up against a real-life version of a super villain, it’s time to meet the only super team that can protect us.
In the first episode of the WatchGuardians, we meet the team and learn more about their super powers and the cyber villains they face. Let’s take a closer look at the WatchGuardian line-up:
- Endpoint Avenger – Your endpoint devices are incredibly vulnerable to attack. Our endpoint hero sits watch, scanning your devices for malicious events and drive-by download attacks. He blocks these threats before any damage is done, ensuring you’re protected from advanced threats like ransomware.
- Network Defender – Any super team powered by WatchGuard is sure to have a strong defender on the network. She stands at the perimeter of your world, quickly detecting and blocking threats before they enter your organization. But, don’t worry, she’ll make sure that defending against these threats doesn’t hamper your performance capabilities.
- Threat Intel X – Don’t make fun of the size of her head – yours would look like that too if you had to store all of this signature and MD5 information. She quickly processes data to detect which threats are known bad or good to help you move through alerts and know which ones need your attention and which ones don’t.
- Captain Correlation – The fearless leader of our security super team, he collects information from the team to determine which threats are the most severe. He enables our superheroes to communicate what threats they’re fighting, ensuring that no cyber villains fall through the cracks. With correlation on your side, cyber villains don’t stand a chance.
Stay tuned for our next episode of the WatchGuardians, where we find out which cyber villain they’re up against and see just how the battle ensues.

Love it! However, I think Ransombear needs to be a little more ferocious and threatening 😉
