Leaked Source Take Down – Daily Security Byte

January 30, 2017 By Corey Nachreiner

Leaked Source is a web site that has been leaking password databases from some of the biggest data breaches in history. It’s become relatively well-known among the security community, since it’s at least in part responsible for the world learning about many headline grabbing database leaks, such as the Yahoo, Myspace, and LinkedIn breaches. Last week, the site went down, and allegedly is the target of an FBI sting. Watch the video below to learn more about this interesting story, and why Leaked Source might be considered a gray hat site.
