That’s right, becoming a cybercriminal just got easier and this new RaaS trend is fueling explosive growth in ransomware. According to new research, ransomware is at epidemic levels. As a matter of fact, Trend Micro reported that 80 new ransomware families were discovered in the first half of 2016, an increase of 172 percent.
