SF Muni Ransomware – Daily Security Byte

Over the long holiday weekend, the San Francisco Municipal Transport Agency (MUNI) was infected with ransomware, which affected their ticketing machines. They were forced to provide free rides for two days, but they didn’t pay the ransom and recovered their machines.
