Yahoo Mass Surveillance? – Daily Security Byte

Three former Yahoo employees claim the company created a custom program to search all customer email for certain keywords, at the behest of U.S. Intelligence agencies. In today’s video, I talk about these allegation, warn that we don’t have all the facts yet, but discuss the implications of this charge if true. Right now, I believe the U.S., and many other countries, are at a tipping point as far as balancing cyber security, intelligence surveillance powers, and privacy.
