Bind DoS Flaws – Daily Security Byte EP. 228

March 10, 2016 By Corey Nachreiner

Denial of service (DoS) flaws may not seem all that severe when they affect desktop clients. However, when they affect your DNS server they can cause organization wide outages. Thanks for the daily video posts.
Several of the slides in the upper left hand corner are difficult to read. Not sure if they are meant to be read or not. Perhaps the slides should be full screen in-between clips of you providing the news. What do you think?

      Andrew,

Thank you… this is good feedback to improve that video. In all honesty, I don’t always intend the audience to have to fully read the content shown… Often, I’m only really trying to highlight the title of the article I’m pointing out, and I actually have the link to the article in question in the reference section of the blog post. That said, if I am showing contents in the TV window, it should be something that’s useful, so I’ll pay more attention to the section I’m “screen shooting”, to look for more readable content.
