According to a MalwareBytes researcher, hackers have hijacked thousands of legitimate web sites that use the WordPress, Joomla, and SquareSpace content management systems (CMS). Once these attackers gain access to these CMS systems, they inject malicious JavaScript into the sites that redirect unsuspecting victims to malicious downloads.
