This week WatchGuard announced a professional services automation (PSA) integration with a Technology Partner Autotask. With this certified integration, MSSP Partners can leverage two key benefits:

Simplified Management and Visibility

With a built-in integration option, partners can easily connect WatchGuard Firebox appliances and their security services to a centralized Autotask interface to keep asset information, such as device serial No. device model, firmware version, expiration dates for security services etc., automatically updated. MSSP Partners can now not lose sight of upcoming subscriptions, and have full traceability into which devices are deployed for each customer, and most importantly, the firmware versions for each device.

Stay On Top of Your Customers’ Needs

The closed-loop service ticketing integration with Autotask allows MSSP Partners to receive automatic alerts and notifications for multiple configurations directly from the Firebox and its Total Security Suite. These configurations can range from service subscription thresholds, System setting thresholds, and security services. MSSP Partners can now stay up to date and notified of any changes in their customer’s security environments. This certified Autotask integration also addresses ticket flooding and false alarms, while reducing the need to manually create, update, and close service desk tickets.
