According to headlines, HP shipped many of their computers with an audio driver that can act like a keylogger. Turns out researchers found a diagnostic feature in the audio driver that does log your keystrokes to a local file, in clear text. While this is certainly a software vulnerability, it doesn’t appear to be intentionally malicious. Nonetheless, you should remove or update this driver to keep your computer safe.
