Mirai IoT Botnet – Daily Security Byte

Last week, I commented on two huge DDoS attacks that allegedly came from hijacked Internet-of-Thing (IoT) devices. The IoT botnets were able to launch some of the largest DDoS attacks every seen. However, at the time experts didn’t know how the attackers had infected the webcams and DVRs. This week, a greyhat hacker leaked the source code for this IoT botnet.
